Julie French is a moving coach who helps women develop the skills needed to navigate the many changes throughout their life. Having moved 16 times in 20 years as a military spouse, Julie understands the pain and grief, as well as the excitement and joy that comes from moving on to something new. She helps women find peace during physical moves, moving on to a new stage in life, and other unexpected changes that occur in their lives so that they can free up mental space to pursue their goals. As a mother of 7 and military spouse, Julie has valuable experience to share with clients regarding moving, relationships, and achieving goals specific to family and military life. Julie started her coaching business in 2019 to help other women deal with the sometimes overwhelming amount of negative thoughts that women think about the changes taking place in their life.

In 2017, Julie experienced a major change in her life as she moved on from being a mother of 5 to a mother of 7 after delivering boy/girl twins. This lifequake found her struggling with anxiety that would not go away.  Ever on a quest to improve her life for good, Julie read books and sought out people who she believed could help free her from this anxiety.  On a weekend getaway with a friend in 2018, Julie discovered that thoughts are what cause our emotions.  This was a revelation to her and was the catalyst to Julie earning her Master’s in Human Services – Life Coaching.  Having found greater peace in her life and freedom from anxiety through coaching, she now strives to provide affordable coaching to those who are seeking to accomplish their goals by first finding peace with the constant change in their lives.

Julie is currently raising her family as well as building her business. She spent 20 years as a military spouse, over 10 years homeschooling her children, and more than 7 years acting as a mentor to youth and women. Today, Julie offers a wide range of coaching programs and services – from individual purpose work coaching to marriage coaching, and group classes. She is also the Spouse Workshop Coordinator for the COMMIT Foundation’s Family Transition Program, which strives to help military spouses pursue their purpose as their families transition out of the military.

“My time with Julie has been so beneficial. I’ve been in therapy several times before, but it never really helped. Life coaching has been a much better fit for me. My life and how I feel about it aren’t actually the problem and that’s what it seemed like the therapists generally focused on. The problem is the negative thought patterns I’ve developed for myself over the years. By coaching me in ways to change my thoughts and showing me how I’ll always get what I think I will get, Julie has helped me to feel positive and optimistic. It is such a welcome and long-awaited change. I’ve suffered from depression for many years and I may always suffer from it, but that doesn’t mean that I have to let it control me.”
